Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog, if you’re new here then welcome in general! Today I thought I’d talk about WDW Abbreviations. I am a member of a few Walt Disney World groups, all of whom use abbreviations when talking about the parks and resorts. For example, you may have made an ADR for BOG and managed to get a FP for 7DMT before heading to MNSSHP. Now, if you have no idea what the heck that says, don’t worry! I always see people asking what the abbreviations mean, so, I thought I’d make a handy list of all the ones I could think of and what they stand for! Here we go…

General Abbreviations

WDW – Walt Disney World
WDTC Walt Disney Travel Company
CM – Cast Member – Disney employees are known as ‘Cast Members’
EMH – Extra Magic Hours
HEA – Happily Ever After
MNSSHP – Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
MVMCP – Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
AH – After Hours Event
WDI – Walt Disney Imagineering
ADR – Advanced Dining Reservation
FP – FastPass+
DVC– Disney Vacation Club
AP – Annual Pass
DL – Disneyland
DLP – Disneyland Paris
DME/ME – Disney’s Magical Express
MCO – Orlando International Aiport
TTC – Transportation and Ticket Centre
APR – Annual Passholder Rate
Rope Drop – A literal rope that gets dropped to signify the park opening for the day.
